Domino’s Trademarks Pizza Hut’s Product Names In The UK [Pizza Wars]
Pizza Hut is testing a new type of pizza in Florida and Texas. It’s called the ‘Natural Rustica’ and according to Brand Republic, the pizza features “sauces made from organic tomatoes and toppings without artificial preservatives. To enhance its premium credentials, the range is made from a multi-grain crust of traditional pizza dough and wholegrain infused with honey and olive oil.” Honey? Anyway, Domino’s must like this idea because they’ve trademarked the “Natural Rustica” name in the UK.
Domino’s Pizza sales and marketing director Robin Auld said: ‘We are frequently registering trademarks as part of our ongoing new product development programme and this often includes names used by Domino’s and other companies in other countries.’
A Pizza Hut spokeswoman responded by saying it was ‘flattered that Domino’s is using Pizza Hut innovation in the US as inspiration’.
Who knew the pizza biz was so catty?

for most of us, spending christmas in puerto vallarta means escaping the cold and the enjoying our celebrations in a handsome, tropical setting. as some, a vacation in puerto vallarta was a gift of tourism from a loved one or just a chance to get away together.
this season will be filled with lights, parades, music and food. people will gather and celebrate while they exchange gifts and show up their beau allowing for regarding each other. we desire make christmas lists with the names of our loved ones and the gifts we have a mind to give them. we pass on race to the malls and pop in our favorite stores in search of that realize gift. everyone wants to see their loved ones face jovial up when they inaugurate their gifts and dig that we were thinking of them this fete season.unfortunately the exultation of giving at this time of year won’t be felt by everyone. for some, here inpuerto vallarta, that treat last wishes as be longed for but the means is just unconscious of reach. one family who has touched the hearts of so many will spend this christmas watching the parades, hearing the music and seeing others share in the spirit of christmas from their tarp covered roof of the wooden shack that is their habitation.

Is the Ethanol Industy Failing or Flourishing?
Over the last few month’s we’ve seen a tide of News about the ethanol industry and it’s staggering growth, but in just the last few days, it seems as if the tides have turned. A confluence of events ranging from rising corn prices and falling gas prices to increased rains and late corn harvests that some say are due to global warming, have resulted in a number of ethanol plants either shutting down or not being built.

A deadline quietly came and went this week ? and the end result is the Emerald City Ethanol plant, which was to be built northeast of the Harvey County Transfer Station, will not become part of the landscape.
According to an update given by Mickey Fornaro-Dean during Wednesday’s meeting of the Harvey County Economic Development Council board, the company pulled the project Oct. 3 and did not renew an Oct. 20 option on land near the now-closed county landfill.
“There are just an awful lot of factors at play here,” Dean told the board. “There is still some interest there, but for now, they have walked away.”

Jennifer Hudson: “Please Keep Praying For Our Family”
Jennifer Hudson has released a message on her MySpace page in which she asks the public for help in finding her missing nephew, Julian King. Her first time speaking out since the horrific double-homicide of her mother and brother, she has asked us to continue to remain alert to find the child. Her message reads:
“Thank you all for your prayers and your calls. Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately. Here is a picture of Julian and what he was last seen wearing. Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time.”
